Don't abandon your social media campaign

Don’t abandon your social media campaign
When it comes to your social media campaign, “Rome wasn’t built in a day” is a great expression to apply. Your business may not become a sensation overnight; but all you need is a little patience to reap tremendous results.
When it comes to your social media campaign, “Rome wasn’t built in a day” is a great expression to apply. Your business may not become a sensation overnight; but all you need is a little patience to reap tremendous results.

We see content “go viral”
a lot, which makes success look like a sensation that can be locked-in with a single YouTube video or a crafty post. This couldn’t be farther from reality. Advertising on your social media in spurts and hoping for something to “go viral” won’t garner the results you need for your business. You probably won’t see an instant outcome at the start of your social media campaign, and the worst thing you can do abandon your campaign when you don’t get that instant gratification.
Social media advertising platforms (Google +, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and more) provide fantastic analytical data for you to use – for free! Instead of counting on instant results, we recommend using the free-of-charge tools at your disposal to refine your targeted attack in stages. With the free data made available to you on social media platforms, you can thoroughly analyze what was done right, and what was done wrong. With social media you have the tools at your fingertips that you need in order to you hone your approach, so that results steadily improve week after week. If you learn from the data and refine your target you’ll reap the rewards you’re looking for over time; on the other side of the coin, if you abandon all the effort put into your social media campaign, you won’t see any results at all.

Sticking with your strategy
and adapting your approach through constant analysis
is a recipe that calls for a dash of patience and a sprinkling of faith – but it’s all about system improvement. If you’re constantly starting social media campaigns, scrapping them, and then re-starting a new one every time you lose your patience, you won’t see the results you need for your business. Starting from scratch each time puts a halt to the consistency that pairs itself up with learning: and learning leads to success.
In the realm of social media, result analysis is crucial when it comes to getting to know your customers as your campaign grows. You’ll realize which tactics fail, versus which ones deserve more investment as you analyse what works for your target audience, and learn from what doesn’t work. Most importantly, the longer you run a social media campaign, the more people you reach – which means you’re connecting and learning about more potential customers.
The key to a great marketing campaign isn’t the development of an overnight sensation. Successful marketing is a refinement of strategy as you learn about the likes (and dislikes) of your target audience. Both success and failure count as incredible opportunities to gather knowledge about what makes your audience buy into your product or service. Don’t spin your tires by reinventing the wheel every time the results aren’t instant. Patience and persistence in your social media campaign are the treads in your tires that will help you create traction and go further than your competition.

For this Marketing and Branding Project
we were asked to design the cover of a Marketing Brochure
for a new restaurant. The owner described a classy photograph he saw in some print advertising and we suggested taking a photograph of the main lights he was using based on the suggestion of the Interior designer.
The challenge was that there were no lights, nor was their a restaurant yet. The renovation had yet to be completed but the marketing had to begin!!
